Your kitchen is a clinical tool. we’ll show you how to use it

The Rebel Wellness Culinary Medicine Program is a physician-curated teaching kitchen experience built for people who want to understand, not just follow, evidence-based nutrition advice. You'll cook real food, learn the evidence behind it, and leave with skills you can use tonight.

Natalie Gentile, MD, DipABLM

Founder, Rebel Wellness

A woman with brown hair tied up working in a kitchen or workshop, chopping vegetables. Behind her, there is a rack with colored dumbbells, a basket, and multiple people, some preparing food or drinks, in a room with colorful geometric wall art and blue chairs.

The Rebel Wellness Culinary Medicine Program was created by Dr. Natalie Gentile, a board-certified family medicine and lifestyle medicine physician, because she kept seeing the same gap in her clinic: patients wanted to change what they ate, but nobody had ever shown them how.

This isn't a cooking class. It's a clinical education program that happens to take place in a kitchen. Our Foundational workshops teach the “how” behind your cooking questions, helping you to feel confident in the kitchen. Our Intensive workshops are grounded in peer-reviewed research, often designed around a specific chronic health topic, and taught in a way that makes the science feel approachable and the cooking feel doable.

All recipes are 100% whole food plant-based. All sessions are limited to 20 participants. And every person who walks out the door leaves with a recipe card and a reason to look forward to cooking.

What to Expect

Never been to a cooking workshop? Here's exactly what happens.

You'll arrive to a set kitchen station with all ingredients ready for you. The instructor will open with an introduction, then everyone cooks together. While you enjoy the fruits of your labor, there will be time for Q&A.

You don't need any cooking experience. You don't need to be plant-based already, and it’s ok if you don’t intend to be. You just need to show up ready to learn and eat well.

I have attended 2 plant based cooking classes at Rebel Wellness. Classes are very informative, instructors very knowledgeable, food is fabulous and everyone is very friendly! Dr Gentile and Molly were teaching at both classes i attended, and Dr Sobel spoke tonight on insulin resistance. I have learned so much from all 3 of them. I highly recommend these classes if you want to learn to increase plant foods in your diet!
